The Mean Seasons

This one I just did in the past day. It depicts a supervillain quartet I created to frequently spar with Jaws Chiptooth.

The story goes that after suffering one defeat after another at Chiptooth's fins even after brainwashing those closest to him over and over and over again, Highroller finally figured out that it would probably further her aim to destroy him by actually having the physical capability to match - and also having underlings at her command who were NOT catatonic and could benefit her overall ends by thinking on their own for a change. She thus recruited four of the scurviest scaliwags ever to be shipped off to the El Diablo Maximum Security Correctional Facility off Geiger Bay - the thief Asta Sonntag, the arsonist Ford John Lye, the vandal Holly Ving, and the general menace to society Chris McKay. Further refining the neuron-superconductor technology she had perfected for her super-criminal career, Rolanski created four battle helmets - each able to boost the wearer's own physical strength and speed through accelerating their neuro-metabolic functions, and each representing a particular holiday concurrent with the four seasons of the year. In addition, Highroller had 'Bloodshot' Eibels craft special weaponry for her new team - high-powered trick grenades for Sonntag and Lye, and flame-thrower and ice-blower blasters for Ving and McKay.

Dubbing themselves 'The Mean Seasons' - in the guises of the Bunny, the Patriot, the Witch and the Snowman - this foursome quickly cut a swath of terror across Geiger City before Jaws Chiptooth ran them down. Since their first defeat, however, they've resurfaced and regrouped, now independently of Highroller, and they're always itchin' to give the sharkoid a fight he'll never forget.

As an artists' note, the special helmet gag I'm sure was at least subconciously-inspired by the old '80s toy-cartoon M.A.S.K. Those were the days.
