Transtech Omega Supreme

Omega Supreme is the property of Hasbro.

This was another notebook sketch from a few years ago, this time about the time one of the TF sites was doing a Transtech-themed art contest; for those who don't know the story on Transtech, just Google/Wiki it - it essentially would have been the TF animated series following "Beast Machines", also CGI, in the same continuity, and featuring both classic G1 characters - Optimus Prime, Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave, among others - as well as Maximals and Vehicons - Cheetor, Silverbolt, Nightscream, Obsidian, Strika. But Hasbro, for whatever reason, ditched the idea and decided to just import anime lines.

Anyway, for the contest, I came up with versions of Ultra Magnus, Chromia, Cosmos and Devcon - none of which IMO really fit into the super-advanced Transtech design aesthetic, though I tried to retain the 'animal' motif that remained prevalent in many of the Transtech designs; Ultra Magnus' car-carrier mode resembled an elephant, Chromia turned into a high-speed watercraft shaped like a dolphin, Cosmos turned into a spacefaring little bug, and Devcon, being a mercenary, was far more vehicular, a sort of scimitar-shaped craft.

This concept didn't make it to a stage I could submit, but anyway, as you can see it would have been Omega Supreme, here depicted as a massive space vessel resembling a whale. Note that I retained his claw and cannon "hands".
